We would absolutely love it if you shared your life events with us in this group. We’d like to celebrate the happy events! And share in your sorrow for the sad ones. We are family.

Here’s how to: After you post it on your personal feed, just hit the Share button and at the top, select Groups, and then our group. It’s a private group, so it can’t be done the other way around (posting in the group first and then sharing it to your feed). Private groups don’t allow you to share anything outside the group.

Just in case you were wondering, I made the group private for a couple reasons. #1 is that I wanted us to be free to share our family photos. #2 is that there’s just a lot a people who want to be a part of a Facebook group that really isn’t family. You’d be surprised who I get asking to be in the group. I only ask 1 question to allow anyone in. How are you related to the family? If you’re friends of the family, you are welcome too. Just tell me who you are and who invited you. That’s it. No major quiz or lots of qualifications, just be a part of our family. 🙂
